Loctite Threadlocker: A Must-Have for Installing Optics | 0.5 ml CZ

Picatinny red dot mounts

Picatinny red dot mounts clamp to Picatinny / weaver rails so you can position your optic securely, set the right height, and keep zero under recoil. Perfect for installation of red dots with quick detach moutns for CZ Scorpion or CZ Bren.

Where they fit

  • CZs with top rails: ideal for platforms like PCCs and rifles with factory Picatinny (e.g., Scorpion / Bren - type uppers, railed receivers/handguards).
  • Not for pistol slides: slides generally aren’t railed—use Optics Ready plates or dovetail red dot mounts instead.

Heights & co-witness

  • Low mounts: closest to bore; great for cheek-weld on PCCs.
  • Absolute co-witness: dot aligns with iron sights.
  • Lower 1/3 co-witness: irons sit lower in the window; faster, less cluttered view.
  • Risers/spacers: fine-tune eye line and cheek-weld with armor or tall stocks.

Mount styles

  • Bolt-on bases: simple, light, rock-solid once torqued.
  • QD levers: rapid swap capability with repeatable return-to-zero.
  • Cantilever/skeletonized: shift optic forward or shave weight where needed.

Setup essentials

  • Seat the crossbolt fully in a Picatinny slot; confirm no movement under hand pressure.
  • Degrease screws/clamp faces; apply Loctite threadlocker.
  • Torque to spec for both clamp and optic screws; witness-mark and recheck after your first range session.

Tip: If your optic doesn’t have a Picatinny clamp (mini-reflex footprints like RMR/RMSc/K-series), mount it via the correct OR plate or dovetail adapter for your CZ.
