What changes with a magwell?

• Speed & consistency: the funnel helps index the mag and reduces fumbles on closed-slide reloads.
• Positive seating: a clearer path makes driving the mag home fast and repeatable.
• Balance: added weight at the grip can calm muzzle movement between shots.

Pair with the right parts

• Use short grips for Compact & Carry (long grips won’t clear the funnel).
• Choose magwell-compatible base pads for flush seating and cleaner reloads.

Materials

• Aluminum: light, rigid, many finishes—balanced for carry and competition.
• Brass: heaviest; maximizes rearward weight for flat, repeatable tracking.
