What will you need

  • 3 mm or 4 mm Allen key (1/8" or 5/32")

Step by step guide

  1. Make sure you have an empty chamber.
  2. Push out the handguard pin.
  3. Push the charging handle forward and press on the small spring through the handguard hole while keeping the handle pushed forward.
  4. Slide in the new charging handle, reinstall the handguard pin, and you are done.
