CZ Shadow 2 Carry: overview of compatible accessories & parts

If you were one of the first to get a new CZ Shadow 2 Carry (as of May 2025), you might wonder which parts and accessories from other CZ models will work on your gun.

Below is my part-by-part breakdown. You can also find all compatible simply by checking CZ Shadow 2 Carry accessories category.

Grips

The same grips that work on the CZ Shadow 2 Compact will also work on your CZ Shadow 2 Carry. You can find them all here: CZ Shadow 2 Carry grips.

Please note: grips from the CZ 75 Compact or CZ P-01 are slightly different and will not fit either the Shadow 2 Carry or the Shadow 2 Compact.

Magwells

Magwells are interchangeable between the CZ Shadow 2 Carry and the CZ Shadow 2 Compact. Although options are currently limited, future magwells designed for the Shadow 2 Compact will also fit the Shadow 2 Carry.

Optic plates / red dot mounts

The CZ Shadow 2 Carry is factory-equipped with a Shield RMSc cut, compatible with RMSc red dots without the need for mounting plates. You can find all the compatible red dots here: CZ Shadow 2 Carry red dots with direct fit.

Red dots with different footprints will not fit. If you wish to use a different red dot, consider the Shadow 2 Compact with adapter plates for multiple footprint options.

Sights

Although CZ Shadow 2 Carry shares the same sight mounting platform as the CZ P-09 Nocturne, the front sight height differs by 1.2 mm. Standard Shadow 2, Shadow 2 OR, and Shadow 2 Compact sights are not compatible. 

So for CZ Shadow 2 Carry you need to search for sights that are made directly for this model. You can find such on our website here: CZ Shadow 2 Carry sights.

Magazines

The CZ Shadow 2 Carry uses the same magazines as the CZ Shadow 2 Compact, CZ P-01, and CZ 75 Compact. These are widely available and typically have a 15-round capacity.

Base pads

The same magazine base pads used for the CZ Shadow 2 Compact are also compatible with the CZ Shadow 2 Carry. You can find such base pads here.

Other parts and accessories

Most other parts, including thumb rests and springs, are interchangeable between the Shadow 2 Carry and Shadow 2 Compact. In each case, make sure to double check compatibility before buying. For each product with list all compatible CZs.
